Q&A
Please tell us a little about
yourself.
I have two
brothers who are both older than I am.
Daniel is 23 and Raul is 24. We’re pretty
close. I still live
with them however Raul is moving
out now. I still
study in the area and
I have my studio here, so I still live here.
Does
music run in your family?
Yeah it does!
My
father played the bass in a band with my mom who sang in it.
My brother Daniel plays the guitar and sings
as well. Raul is different; he’s the
guy who builds our websites. He’s our
private computer freak. Lol
We know you live in the
Netherlands. How can you compare that to the United
States? How is it the same and different?
Hmm, that’s a
difficult question. I’m going to compare it to
California since I haven’t seen the
whole United States. Haha The similarities are:
They both have
beautiful sights. The people are a mix
of really nice while others are completely insane. However,
in the US, people are more open.
American
myspace fans say: I love your music/where can I
download it/ marry me!
Dutch
myspace fans say:
Good job / keep up the good work
Since we’re on the
topic of girls…how would you compare the
American girls to the ones in the Netherlands?
I’m not
sure!
California is kind of the Barbie world.
How many languages do you speak
and which ones?
I know 5
languages.
I’m going to list them from good to worse.
1.German 2.Dutch 3.English
4.Spanish 5.French (I can read
and understand French but the talking isn’t the best!)
Say “I love to
sing” in each language
“Ich liebe
singen”
“Ik hou van zingen” “I love to
sing” “j’adore
chanter” and “me encanta
cantar”
Where do you write music
best? What do you use for inspiration?
I write music in the
studio, where I am right now
actually. Sometimes I get a melody in
my head and then I’ll go and check it on the piano to make it
a song. Other times I just open the music program,
cubase sx, and start making a beat or melody.
As far as inspiration for the lyrics, I guess love has something to do
with it! Also, sometimes friends give
me pieces of lyrics and I’ll add to it or delete some
words. That’s actually how we created “In
the
Morning Sun.” I still have songs that I
have on my pc to finish, so I have enough to do!
How
many songs have you written?
Lyrics can take a while,
so a little more than 30.
Please tell us
about your most recent concert. What
was it like?
I play in a very good
band here in Holland called “Like
This.” We perform at big parties and
play for clubs.
What else do you like to do when
you’re not performing or
writing music?
Let’s see, I
like to: hit the gym, swim once in a while,
party, gaming, watching movies, and for all the dutch people out there,
I also
like to take the bike once in a while.
Cycling is big here in Holland.
Would you like to leave a message
for your fans?
Thanks
so much everybody for all your support!!
