Kelci Paige  Interview Part 2 When is your birthday? May 24, 1991 How tall are you? 5' 1/2" Do you have any siblings:  Names, ages? Yes a little sister Madi and she's 8 years old.  She's a great dancer! Do you have any pets? I have a bunny named Thumper and a yorkie-poo named Roxi Noel How do you like school this year? It's been pretty good so far.  I only go to school for three classes and the rest I do at home.  I still get to go to the football games, class trips, etc.  So I have the rest of both worlds! Do you play any instruments? I play some keyboard and a little bit of the guitar.  I did take some drum lessons though and I LOVED that!! What is your heritage? I'm mostly German. What name brand clothing do you like to wear most? Abercrombie Who are your role models? Jesus, my mom, grandmother, and Alicia Keys When did you begin singing? What age? Since I was about two but I've been taking lessons and all since I was almost nine What acting roles have you had? Nothing big yet, I just did a series of first aid videos. Would you go out to California to take on an acting role? Oh in a heartbeat!!!!  I love LA! How did you find out about America's Most Talented Kid? Actually my vocal coach in Los Angeles sent in my tape.  He just called me one day and said PAX TV called and they want you on the show! I was so excited that I got to be on the show and they filmed it in my favorite spot, LA! So your tape was the audition? What was it like on a day you did the taping for the show? Yep they booked me from the tape.  The day was kind of long but sooo much fun.   I met so many cool kids from all over and most of the day we just hung out on the set. Was this your first time singing on TV? Nope, i had sung the National Anthem on the Jay Leno Show and I sang on a Dallas cable show before too. What was it like on the Jay Leno Show? It was really cool but weird seeing myself back on TV! Did you watch American Idol and Star Search? I watched a lot of Star Search and I never ever missed American Idol.   I've watched every season but the finale was the best on season 1.   Who was your favorite from season 1? Definitely Kelly! What would you like to accomplish in your career? I just want to be happy and successful and be able to do what I love doing and that's sharing my music. Please tell us more about your CD.  What type of music is on there and will you be touring for it at all? No it's not a full CD so I won't tour for it.  "I Wanna" is the only originial song on there.  The others are covers.  I will probably be doing a full CD this next year. I just finished co-writing and recording a new song and will debut it on MySpace in a couple weeks.  I'm excited because it's the first thing I've recorded that I wrote! Wow, that sounds very exciting! What type of music is it? It's really different for me.  It is kind of southern rock/pop.  It's a mid tempo song.   I am currently working with Linda Septien.  She is the vocal coach/producer that got Jessica Simpson started. *Thank you so much Kelci for doing this interview with us.
