friends and just chill out.
APRIL:
I don't have that much free time, but I go home to NB and chill with my
fam and just spend time with them. I try to hang out with friends as
much as
possible.....and I walk my dog Lady aka "baby", lol.
ELLE:
I love to just hang out and do nothing, I love the feeling of having
nothing to do, no commitments. I love to hang out with my family when I
have
the time too.
How long have you been singing?
JACYN:
Since I was...a wee baby.
LAUREN:
I have been singing since I could talk, so probably since I was 2.

but actually training 3/4 years...and here at Bristol about a year and
a half.
Intensively.
ELLE:
I honestly don't even remember. As long as I can remember I guess.
What does it feel like for you when
you’re singing on stage?
JACYN:
It feels great..I love entertaining..the audiences are always really
receptive to our performances, so it feels like a party on stage!
LAUREN:
I love performing live. It is such a rush to feel the energy from the
audience! I get chills!
APRIL:
Its feels awesome...yyea.....thats how it feels. AMAZING lol.
ELLE:
It's so much fun, it's what I want to do every day.
What is your favorite part of being in this
industry?
JACYN:
The money--the fancy jewelry...umm no.. not yet at least! hehe I have
to
say the best part is following through with a dream of being an
entertainer and
putting yourself out there to entertain. I think if you can touch
someone just
by opening your mouth and singing..you are doing ok in this world!
LAUREN:
Being able to share my love for music with so many people:) haha I'm
cheesy.
APRIL:
I like that we will be able to effect people in a positive way...Music
brings people together...NO matter what anyone says...and to be a part
of that
is really cool.
ELLE:
My favorite part would have to be being able to share my music with so
many other people who I don't even know.
Do you play any musical instruments?
JACYN:
Keyboard a tad...
LAUREN:
I can play the piano a little bit. I am learning more and more.
APRIL:
I play the flute...lol.
ELLE:
I play the piano a little bit.
What has your career been like so far?
JACYN:
Lots of work..lots of hours, lots of dedication and...COFFEE!
APRIL:
It's had some ups and downs, but mostly steady in an upward
direction. Like Jacyn said, LOTS of work. 6 day a week
rehearsals no fail
plus performances and travel on top of that. We're doing a lot of
recording
right now, lots of vocal training, show and dance rehearsal. Did a
couple of
major label showcases last week which went REALLY well. We're
doing our
thing and are sooo close to breakin out, so be on the lookout for JADA!
:)
ELLE:
It's been a lot of work and non-stop running around. It's stressful but
it's sooooooo worth it.
LAUREN:
Ditto on what everyone said!
What types of performances have you given?
LAUREN:
Well, so far a lot has happened! We have performed in many different
places from the beach, to the back of a pick up truck, to the Orpheum
Theater
in Boston, to clubs and fairs, to the Grammy's in LA! It has been an
amazing
ride! haha. Right now we are in the midst of getting signed to a major
label so
stay tuned!! Check us out on our website at www.jadamusic.com!:) Drop
us an
email and say Hi!
JACYN:
Some seriously exciting ones. We've performed with some major artists,
from B2K, JoJo, Stacie Orrico, Aaron Carter, Jeff Timmons of 98
Degrees,
Cassidy, to William Hung!! We've sung for the Boston Bruins, the Boston
Celtics. And singing the National Anthem for the New England Patriots
at
Gillette Stadium in front of 60,000 fans was pretty wild too! What a
rush! We've done a ton of performing. Pausing a bit right now
to
concentrate on getting in the studio to record a lot of new material
with a
really impressive roster of songwriters and producers. We're psyched!
*Thank you so much to Jada for taking the
time to do an interview with us!
We wish you all the best!
