do you know each other? Where are you from?
Hey!
We're sisters based out of NY.
What
made you start Feeling the Vibe?
That's
a good question! It's a pretty new
website/magazine, it was started in the summer of 2005. Music has been
our life
since we were very young, whether it was playing the piano, singing,
dancing,
etc..we've done it. LOL
Where
did you get the name of your website from?
We
were brainstorming for a while, had a long list of possibilities. Then
"Feeling the Vibe" just stuck. Many times we've
talked about
the "vibes" certain people give off and certain music gives off. It's
not something you see, hear, smell, or taste but it's something you
definitely
feel. Many times music fans can "feel" the vibe given off by a
certain musician/artist/band and they decide rather quickly if they
like it or
not. As we search for new talent on the scene we take a moment to try
to
"feel their vibe" and see if it mixes with FTV's flavor and style.
What
type of music does your site feature?
Our
site mainly features and spotlights artists in the
pop and R&B genre of music.
Can
I donate graphics to your site?
Sure!
We always welcome new and cool graphics.
How
should we contact you for an interview?
If
you're a new or current artist and would like to be interviewed by
Feeling the Vibe, please contact us by writing to "

Does
FTV have contests?
Yes, we
definitely run contests at different times.
Sometimes they are related to attending
special concerts, other times
they are to win different artist sponsored items, and then FTV will run
our own
special contests to showcase your talents.

How
can I enter an FTV contest?
When we
announce contests on Feeling the Vibe there will be direct links to all
the
rules for the contests. If
you have any
questions about our current contest you can send them to
customerservice@feelingthevibe.com
and we will answer them as quickly as possible.
You
say you'll be running contests to showcase our talents, how do those
work?
We
will have all the needed information and details up on FTV. One of our first talent
showcase contests
will be a singing contests and the details will be announced.
How
often do you run contests?
There
isn't a set schedule of contests, they are run at random times but we
will try
to give you as much notice as possible when new ones will be announced.
Do you
offer prizes for your talent showcase contests?
For our
first singing contest we will feature the winner on FTV in a special
spotlight
section which will give you great visibility in the entertainment world. The spotlight section will
include song
samples, a biography, short interview, and photographs.
I know you run some
contests for different celebrities, I
missed the last one, how can I be sure to not miss the next one?

I'm a
writer and would like to write FTV can I?
We
always welcome submissions from writers out there.
You can send your article ideas to us at
@feelingthevibe.com. If
we decide to
use yours it will be published on FTV with full credit to you and
visibility to
all of our readers. If
we do not choose
to use your article please don't hesitate to try again, it just may be
that we
couldn't find the right fit for what you wrote or it just wasn't the
right
time.
I'm a
new artist, can I be featured on FTV?
All FTV
features are followed by the interview being first.
If you are interested in running an
interview with us and being
featured on FTV, you can send your request with a biography, photos,
and sound
samples to interviews@feelingthevibe.com.
We will get back to you if we feel you
are the right fit for FTV.
What
made you guys expand into the "real magazine" ?
This
is something we've been wanting to do.
We've had so many different experiences
and so often do not find the
"answers" real young people are asking for.
We're hoping to bridge that gap by
offering "Feeling the
Vibe...Let's Get Real" the magazine so we can still bring you all the
great artist/music news but also get to know YOU, giving you a place to
talk
about real everyday life with others and us!
