Q&A
Do any of your family members
sing or play
instruments?
Colleen and I grew up
watching my mom sing and travel
with a trio that she was apart of, I guess you could say she was part
of our
inspiration. We also used to sing with her and our 2 older
sisters in
church a lot. Our whole family is pretty musical though, Christine's
dad is a
guitar/bass player, and our grandpa sings as well and won a few
competitions
back in the day.
Did you attend Christian high
schools or
colleges?
Colleen
and I attended a Christian school for
elementary, but for high school we went to a Catholic school. For
college, I'm now doing Bible college correspondence courses.
Christine
attended a public school for high school and did Bible College
correspondence.
Has music always been a big part
of your lives?
Yes,
music has always been a big part of our
lives. We all grew up singing in church, choirs, and school events.
Colleen and
I took piano lessons for most of our childhood, while Christine learned
to play
guitar.
What is the best part of being in
the music
industry?
Colleen:
Meeting new people.
Christine:
Doing something that I love to do as a career.
Pam:
Being apart of something that is impacting lives.
Are you girls club-goers?
We
avoid going to clubs and things like that unless it's to a bar to see
a band play. And when that happens, we will go with a few of our other
Christian friends, which helps with accountability. But to be honest,
we're not
really into the whole nightlife scene and so we aren't really
confronted with
that sort of temptation.
Thank you to: Carried Away and their publicist, Brian Mayes.
We
wish you the best always, you're all so great to work with.
